Canadian Broadband Co-Operative

The Canadian Broadband Co-Operatives is developing the framework of creating and managing an open architecture, open access, sustainable national broadband network available and beneficial to all Canadians and implementing that framework.

With the network in place, the network will then be placed into the hands of all Canadian citizens to ensure a redundant and fast network unencumbered by any private and restrictive controls.

The Foster Care Council of Canada

John Dunn, is the founder and volunteer Executive Director of the Foster Care Council of Canada. As a child, John lived in foster care for 16 years and was moved 13 times. In 1988 when John was 18 years of age he chose to leave foster care and live on his own. Approximately 13 years later, in 2001 when he contacted the Catholic Children's Aid Society of Toronto to get copies of his own life records he learned that Children's Aid Societies generally, as a matter of policy do not provide copies of former foster kids' life records to them.

Watch for Change

Watch for Change is fund raising social media style. We help charities raise money, companies showcase social responsibility and internet users make a difference. Watch one of our videos and a company donates money to charity.

Watch. Share. Make a difference.

Without the level playing field that the internet represents, we wouldn't have a hope to get our message out to the masses. Right now we have a great idea, the strong desire to make it work and the distribution opportunity that the internet provides.
